Dundas Community Services in partnership with Community Living Hamilton offers a Friendly Calling Program for Seniors in the Greater Hamilton Area. This program is available to help you “age at home” in dignity and health and keep you connected to the community. Caring volunteers will call you once a week to lend a friendly ear, update you on community events and activities, and help link you to community resources and supports. The Advocacy Centre for the Elderly is a community based legal clinic for low income senior citizens. ACE is managed by a volunteer board of directors at least half of whom are seniors.
